Do you Believe?

There are times when you have to believe that there is a purpose in one's life... that there is a higher power... that one is placed on this earth for something and it has not been accomplished yet...

This video of the man being hit by a truck which was hit by a train, excaping with only cuts and bruises highlights this point...
Thankfully, He also will now be able to marry his fiancee in April.

It reminds me of my car accident in the Grape Vine in So Cal when I went under the belly of a semi truck on the 5. Completely at a ninety degree angle, just like the stunt cars that you see in movies or TV... only they clear the truck and appear on the other side. I managed to have the roof of the car get stuck on something underneath the truck bed, turn the car another ninety degrees so now I am facing the wrong direction, and have the truck's tires go over the passenger side. Thankfully, the driver side had cleared the truck when it got turned 180 degrees but I wouldn't know since my eyes were closed shut and I had bent my head. I was just thinking that I was about to be decapitated. Instead, the car got free of the truck and spun out across the lanes and into the dirt median where I finally stopped. I remember that I had to push the door really hard to open it. I had a lot of glass in my hair and clothes. But I escaped with only a partially torn tendon on my index finger of my right hand. Partially torn tendon....

The guy at the salvage yard where the car was towed, told me that I must have not done what God put me on this earth to do... I pshawed it at the time... BUT....

Makes you wonder how many lives one really has. If that is the case, then I have used 5 of those lives... and the next time around, I might not be so lucky.
